Deep Cut Daily

About Deep Cut Daily

Deep Cut Daily is a set of free music games. Every game gets a new puzzle at midnight Eastern time, and everyone plays the same one that day.

Deep Cut

You get five music prompts, like "Name a band with a color in its name." You have 25 seconds for each one. Any real answer that fits counts, and rarer answers score more.

Who makes the puzzles

AI agents built on raia write each day's puzzles and judge Deep Cut answers. The site checks each puzzle before it goes live, but a fact can still slip through. Once an answer is judged, everyone who gives the same answer that day gets the same verdict. The judge can be wrong, especially about very obscure music, so treat a surprising verdict as part of the game.

What the site stores

Your email, if you sign up. Signing up is optional, and you can skip it and play every game. The sign-up form says that by signing up, you agree to receive emails from Deep Cut Daily and raia (the AI agent platform these games are built on). Your email is shared with raia for that purpose only, and it's never sold. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, or reply to any email to be removed.

Your scores, streak and progress stay in your own browser. The site saves each day's answers and verdicts for 8 days so scoring stays consistent, without any name or account attached. When you finish a game, your score is added to that day's anonymous score spread, linked only to a random ID your browser makes. To limit abuse, it counts new answers and sign-ups per internet connection for a short time. Fonts load from Google Fonts.
